COMPETITION - AWARDS - JURY
Each year, the Tahiti Film Festival Awards honors excellence in romantic
movies within the context of a Year in Review.
AWARDS
With an international jury of film and media industry professionals, the Tahiti Film Festival and the Tahiti Virtual Festival culminate in a tropical awards ceremony in four distinct categories: feature length films, short films (less than 30 minutes), commercials and amateur Internet short films.
Following a selection process, the Tahiti Best Romantic Movie 2006, Tahiti Best Romantic Short 2006, the Tahiti Best Romantic Amateur Short 2006 and Tahiti Best Romantic Commercial 2006 are awarded during the Closing Gala Ceremony on Friday, December 8,2006.
Other awards include Tahiti Best Romantic Director, Actor, Actress, creenplay, and Director of Photography.
The winner of the Internet competition Best Romantic Amateur Short will be announced and invited to attend the Tahiti Film Festival 2007.
SELECTION PROCESS & JURY
Programming: The Tahiti Film Festival Awards selections are made through a jury of international film industry professionals (actors, producers, directors, programmers) throughout the world (Europe, Asia, South America, North America, India).
The Jury: A final international jury of 8 film industry professionals (actors, producers, directors) are judging the films and determining the most outstanding achievements in each category.
